Zoe is a beautiful 1 year old female with plenty of personality. She has been spayed and is current on all her shots. Healthy and active, Zoe enjoys life with her foster humans, but would prefer a home with fewer cats. While she loves to be petted, Zoe is not especially fond of being held but is beginning to tolerate it.
Tovah is a shy but loving little girl. She had been rescued as a semi-feral cat and was being socialized with another feral at the home of her rescuer. When the rescuer became ill and passed away, we brought the cats into one of our sanctuary/foster homes. Tovah has turned into a very affectionate cat who loves to play and receive attention. She is rather sensitive to change and does not like to be too confined. Anyone considered for adopting Tovah will need to be experienced with cats and have plenty of patience. In return, you will be rewarded with a sweet companion.
Tiger Lily is a beautiful, friendly girl requiring a lot of attention as well as a watchful eye on her medical conditions. Also known as Tiger, she is a 6 year-old cat female cat with tortie markings. Tiger loves attention, is very friendly and vocal. Like the ambassador to the house, Tiger greets everyone who comes to the door with affection and demands to be petted. She loves to play and needs regular exercise to help manage her weight. Tiger generally gets on well with other cats and is good with children. Tiger has had urinary tract infections and surgery for bladder stones in the past but has been problem free since following a strict prescription diet. Tiger Lily is spayed, current on her vaccinations and is in generally good health.
Speranza means lucky in Italian and this guy is. Found in the road between lanes of traffic, Speranza had obviously been hit by a car. Moved off the road by a Cincinnati Cats volunteer and taken to hospital, the outcome of this story was not certain. Mostly feral and suffering from a seriously broken pelvis Speranza had a lot to overcome. In addition to his injuries, his fear of humans added to the difficulty of treating him. With time, he has learned to trust the humans around him and actually enjoys their company. What Speranza really wants, however, is the company of other cats. Only those who have experience working with semi-feral cats will be considered for adopting Speranza. He has become very affectionate and sleeps in bed with his people now, but still retains some feral tendencies that will take time to ease. There are some physical limitations from his injuries and he will require close monitoring for the rest of his life. You can read more details from the rescue and recovery of Speranza here www.cincinnaticatrescue.org
